Overview

The Commercial Sales Enterprise Account Team focuses on empowering customers on their digital journey. We envision new possibilities for our customers, deliver solutions that result in targeted business outcomes, and drive revenue growth for Microsoft. As a customer-facing team, the Commercial Sales Global Team provides strategic and technical deal-based engagement to drive New Commerce Azure Consumption Revenue (ACR), reduce time to consumption, and ensure a seamless transition to the new commerce platform.


As a Commercial Executive, you will be the lead negotiator and key person responsible for renewals in the enterprise segment. This role offers an opportunity to accelerate your career growth, develop deep business acumen, hone your selling skills, and become adept at deal structuring.


The Commercial Executive is a trusted advisor who leads the design and execution of the customer’s commercial strategy and negotiation. You will design the right commercial solution at the right time, ensuring every deal is compliant and profitable for Microsoft. You will be responsible for revenue generation and growth, deal making, and developing negotiation strategies as you build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and peers. As a seasoned sales and negotiation professional, you are unafraid of conflict. With a positive attitude and a passion for working with customers and partners, you are comfortable speaking at all organizational levels, from senior leaders to procurement teams. You will make the best choices for the customer based on their commercial strategic needs. As a strategic, long-term thinker, you will analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. While in-depth and strategic understanding of Microsoft Support, licensing programs, and contracting is essential, it is not required. This role is flexible, allowing you to work up to 50% from home.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Law, Finance or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of sales and negotiation experience, including contract management, procurement, and working with enterprise customers.
  • Proven experience leading collaborations with internal and external business stakeholders, including C-level executives to achieve targets.
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Law, Marketing (or equivalent) AND several years of sales and negotiation experience
  • Deep knowledge of solution assessment and expected outcomes to determine optimal commercial licensing and contracting.
  • Experience in crafting and negotiating deals, including handling objections and finalizing legal amendments.
  • Ability to drive compliance with commercial solutions policy, regulatory laws, and company policies.
  • Danish and English fluency preffered

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design and execution of commercial strategies and negotiations.
  • Ensuring deals are compliant and profitable for Microsoft.
  • Building trusted relationships with key stakeholders and peers.
  • Analyzing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Crafting and negotiating deals, including amendments and documentation.
  • Driving team collaboration and supporting onboarding.

You will also:

  • Ensure customer and partner teams deliver value during lifecycle management.
  • Develop relationships with customers to understand their strategies and structure deals that drive value and growth.
  • Balance customer and Microsoft needs when crafting solutions.
  • Represent customer requirements in proposals and solve issues.
  • Simplify commercial strategies and orchestrate resources to solve partner issues.
  • Engage with partners to establish customer solutions
