Overview

Microsoft and G42, a leading UAE-based AI technology holding company and the UAE National AI Champion, have announced a strategic partnership with multiple pillars aimed at responsibly elevating AI adoption to transform emerging nations. One of these pillars involves co-building and co-innovating IPs in areas such as National Large Language Models, Sovereign Public Cloud offerings, Cybersecurity, and Industry AI Solutions, all powered by Microsoft Azure Technologies.

As the Partner Solution Architect for G42 within the Microsoft Operating Unit, your primary responsibility will be to provide deep technical coaching aiding partners to develop impactful solutions and services for our customers. Leveraging your experience you will validate partners’ technology architecture, assist them to overcome technical blockers, and aid them to win early customers, and realize consumption and usage results from their solutions and services.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
  • Proven track record of building deep technical sales relationships with CXOs and practice building executives in ISV, MSP, CD and Sis.
  • Ability to solve Partner problems and unblock technical issues, leveraging internal and/or external resources.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Cloud Solution Area products and services, and knowledge of market business environment
  • 6-10+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales, technology solutions/practice development, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications required

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineer or related field preferred
  • Certification in one of the following technologies preferred: Cloud, mobile, web application development, cloud-native application architecture (i.e., containers, microservices, API management), modern software development techniques like DevOps and CI/CD tool chains (i.e., Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure developer services, GitHub) and container orchestration systems (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Azure), Prosci.

Responsibilities

  • Partner Enablement and Execution
    • Enablement Execution: Lead and/or contribute to the delivery of workshops, bootcamps, and trainings necessary to build partners’ technical skills
    • Technical Engagement: Lead deep technical engagements, including; Briefings, Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions, and Hackathons
    • Best Practice Sharing: Collaborate with Microsoft’s Engineering teams to generate technical insight and enable best practices sharing
    • Solution Development: Aid partners to develop and implement high quality solutions and/or services leveraging Microsoft’s latest technologies
    • Evangelism: Evangelize partners’ practices and solutions in customers’ implementations via Technical briefings and Architecture Review Sessions
    • Tech Sales: Enable partners on technical pre-sales skills while supporting initial partners’ wins and work to unblock technical issues.
