As a Field Product Marketing Student Worker, you will deliver the Microsoft Commercial Cloud Solution Area customer promise and value via a group of managed partners aligned to a specific solution area. Under supervision, you will achieve revenue and market share goals for their solution area through these partners. You will create joint solution-focused sales plans together with partners and Microsoft sales teams. You will be part of a team that coaches partners on solution area value proposition and help them to accelerate their sales practice. Owns solution area pipeline and forecast to achieve quarterly revenue targets.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, degree in in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Legally authorized to work in Germany (Legally authorized = Has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit).
  • Fluency in English.
  • Fluency in German.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in understanding and addressing security, compliance, and privacy risks and implications.

Responsibilities

Start date: March/April 2025

Duration: 20 hours per week

Type of Employment: Student Worker

  • Coordinates with local teams, including Program Marketing Managers (PMMs), Sales, Communications, Finance, and Business Operations to establish the appropriate marketing plan, with guidance from others on their team. Ensures local marketing plan leverages Global Demand Center (GDC) strategy, execution frameworks, and marketing technology (MarTech) capabilities to drive business priorities (e.g., customer adds, lead generation) via local marketing engines (e.g., digital, social, email, events).
  • Contributes to the delivery of the marketing plan. Contributes to reports and analysis of customer metrics. Assists with the creation of reports and analyses of customer metrics to identify opportunities to improve customer engagement by collaborating with engine owners. Builds knowledge of local customer segments, audience landscapes, and programs. Utilizes corporate customer targeting, segmentation tools, and various metrics to continually update and improve customer experiences.
  • Aligns digital-engine plan with critical company focuses such as privacy, accessibility, and compliance with guidance. Delivers local events and campaigns that are aligned to the global-event framework, leveraging appropriate target lists and digital tools.
  • Reads and interprets marketing performance and marketing spend reports, using analytical knowledge to extract insights from data. Interprets business implications of results and reports findings to stakeholders. Helps perform and guide analyses to generate insights that address the identified business questions.
  • Under guidance, provides data-driven insights leveraging available Global Demand Center (GDC) tools and dashboards to optimize marketing strategy and delivery. Takes action based on insights from corporate data, with guidance as needed. Incorporates inclusive marketing and accessibility principles, best practices, and tools in the execution of marketing initiatives. Suggests feedback on GDC analytical tools or dashboards as necessary.
  • Assists with orchestrating and completing work needed across local stakeholders for Rhythm of Connection (RoC) meetings. Tracks marketing-related spending against planned estimates. Ensures event or campaign delivery is consistent with marketing plan. Reviews marketing activities and local website properties for any gaps with global guidance and compliance standards (e.g., accessibility, privacy, security, area company brand) with guidance.
  • Executes standardized, scalable, compliant, and efficient marketing execution by leveraging global capabilities, engines, and tools via MSC (Marketing Service Central) in partnership with Global Demand Center (GDC) stakeholders.
