As an Azure Data, Apps & AI Specialist you will be a senior solution sales leader covering a dedicated set of customers in Czechia & Slovakia. You will be leading a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed quarterly Data, Apps & AI revenue and usage/consumption targets in your assigned accounts. This includes winning the database platform, supporting customers’ migration to the cloud, their data platform modernisation aspirations and supporting new application development.
You will also support your customers in innovating with AI, building AI into their customer facing solutions and supporting their internal operations in driving efficiency and automation. You will be a trusted advisor and Analytics, Data, Apps & AI subject matter expert with core capability and expertise in Data Modernization, Analytics and AI.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated technology-related sales or account management experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND technology-related sales or account management experience OR equivalent experience
- Solution sales or consulting services sales experience working with Data & AI solutions (Cloud-based Data Warehouse, Hadoop, Spark, Data Lake, SQL solutions required MySQL, PostreSQL, NoSQL (Mongo), and Machine Learning solutions desired.
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform with emphasis on Microsoft AI Data platform services, hybrid cloud technologies, developer tools and services and/or complementing solutions required
- Fluent in English and Czech
- You must be currently a tax resident of Czechia
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure Data, AI & Apps Services. Understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform with emphasis on Microsoft Data platform services, hybrid cloud technologies, developer tools and services and/or complementing solutions. required
- Technical Dialog. Lead technical sessions making use of whiteboards or other resources to drive solution discussions leveraging published solution architectures for common data platform implementations required
- Azure Data Fundamentals(DP-900), Azure Admin (AZ104) or AI Fundamentals (AI-900) Certified or equivalent knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Sales Execution- Engages in conversation with customers aligned to their industry and collaborates with account and partner team to drive and qualify new opportunities and build pipeline. Identifies customer business and technology readiness, proactively builds external stakeholders' mapping, implements strategies to accelerate the closing of deals, contributes input on strategies to drive and close prioritized opportunities, coaches junior team members in deal plan execution, and implements close plans.
- Identify new data, AI and application development opportunities with the support of marketing signals, existing customer usage and targeted business development activities
- Collaborate with a team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to advance the sales process and exceed quarterly Data, Apps & AI revenue targets in your assigned accounts.
- Scaling and Collaboration- Applies role orchestration model and navigates the Microsoft organization to bring the best impact to the customer. Also collaborates with Global Partner Solutions (GPS), identifies new partners, develops joint proposals with partners, and contributes to developing partner strategies. Strong program usage to show Microsoft’s commitment to our customers (skilling, presales funding, solution assessments, FastTrack advisory).
- Technical Expertise- Leverages and shares competitor knowledge across solution areas as a subject matter expert to inform decisions on pursuit or withdrawal. Leads conversations and sets up events within Microsoft, mentors others and develops strategies for best practice sharing, initiates conversations with prospective customers/partners at events, acts as a subject matter expert in one or more solution area(s). Collaborates with the 'compete' SMEs internally to analyze competitor products, solutions, and/or services and implement strategies.
