Excel on Mobile team is focused on taking the product to flagship quality with solid fundamentals like perf and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical chops in native (C/C++) language and good experience in Android and iOS development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C/C++ and/or Java/ObjC.
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Proven skill in designing large features or a small product.

Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements that are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

• Fast learner with good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong in analytical problem solving and good fundamentals in CS

• Strong attention to fundamentals: performance, robustness, and resource usage
• Work independently and collaboratively within and across product teams (across global development centers)
• Be data driven to keep the quality of the product high
• Solid debugging, investigating and designing
• Practice customer obsession to create great customer outcomes.
