We are seeking a customer-focused Senior Product Marketing Manager, Security for AI to join our collaborative marketing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for marketing Microsoft Security solutions that help secure and govern AI. Your primary objectives will include influencing product and monetization strategy and driving clarity on go-to-market strategy. This role requires proven storytelling expertise, strategic thinking, business acumen, and a passion for our customers.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
    • OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of product marketing or product management experience within the cybersecurity or AI space.
  • 5+ years of experience working with engineering teams to influence product strategy and create product demos.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
    • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience in product marketing or product management.
  • 5+ years of experience creating marketing content for various audiences, including technical breakout sessions and executive keynotes.
  • Ability to proactively and quickly learn new and emerging technologies and ability to explain key end-user scenarios and create product demos with compelling stories.
  • Curiosity to understand the nuances of the solution, identify key competitive differentiators and be able to simplify the messaging for the customers, partners, and sales teams.
  • Effective cross-group collaboration and stakeholder management skills across matrix fast paced organizations.
  • Analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to use data to build and present business cases to key stakeholders.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Responsibilities

To reach our goals in this market, you are focused on the customer and business outcomes and have experience in building partnerships with engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.

  • You can look end-to-end across the business from marketing campaigns to readiness to product strategy to partner to field to competitor to help improve product, deliver offers, and land scale through partners and field.
  • Influencing engineering on product roadmap to deliver innovation, ensure competitiveness in the market, and meet customer needs.
  • Collaborating with business planning on business model decisions and then bringing those to market.
  • Owning and delivering the value proposition of the product in messaging and in content.
  • Influencing field and partner marketing for enablement and readiness.
  • Understanding competitors and building strategies to address them.
  • Listening to field input from sellers to influence your marketing strategy.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow the overall Microsoft Security for AI business.
