Overview

The E+D Growth team is a multi-disciplinary team of 150 people in Dublin, Ireland, spanning Software Engineering, Product Management, Data Scientists, and Designers committed to delivering cross-Microsoft experiences to drive AI adoption and growth with our commercial customers.


Our team’s charter is to ensure hundreds of millions of users at work to discover and love Copilot. We work with many teams across Microsoft, and this role needs someone who is great at working in a large software organization to partner with other app teams to align on priorities and projects. The Principal Product Manager candidate must ideate and deliver contextually relevant and delightful ways in which IWs can see how AI can change the way they can get core jobs done at a scale that reaches many millions of users with each feature. And we seek people with growth mindsets who just naturally act as role models and drive improvement to team culture.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Extensive years of industry experience designing, spec’ing, shipping, and measuring software and services.
  • Solid ability in feature definition, design and feasibility for features that span multiple teams
  • Excellence in UX feature design, competitive insights, experimentation mindset that drives outcomes
  • A track record in being accountable, action-oriented, proactive and driving projects to closure even where there is ambiguity or initial misalignment around the goal
  • At least one example of where your personal contribution has changed the team’s direction.
  • A track record of embodying Microsoft’s leadership principles: creating clarity, generating energy and delivering success.
  • Expertise in partner management and driving results through the partnership while maintaining a positive relationship
  • Deep commitment to inclusiveness and diversity.

Responsibilities

  • Create partnerships across Microsoft that unlock paths to deliver impactful features across different app experiences.
  • Be the type of person that every partner team wants to work with… yet represent our team’s goals and schedule at the same time.
  • Show excellence in resolving prioritization misalignment across teams with urgency, building roll-out plans and partnering with marketing/legal.
  • Show world class UX feature delivery as you personally also design, spec and work with feature crews on UX features that drive adoption of Copilot.
  • Anticipate and overcome technical challenges in the delivery of your experience.
  • Demonstrate excellence in data, with forecasting and experiment design and analysis. Collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for complex technical needs in order to improve product development in multiple areas.
  • Proactively create an amazing team culture, mentoring more junior PMs, and working through other PMs to achieve success.
