OneFleet platform team in Azure is responsible for building and managing distributed systems that serve as a building block for services in Azure. The team is responsible for building and operating a PubSub service on top of Apache Kafka and a Distributed Coordinator service on top of Apache Zookeeper that runs in every Azure datacenter all over the world (300+ clusters). We collaborate closely with teams in Azure to deliver their scenarios and look for opportunities to build platform solutions. The mission of our team is to evolve Azure control plane services to event driven micro services architecture with data being at its core.

We value people who can bring a diverse perspective to our team, and where an engineer will not just write code but will have a meaningful impact on the direction of the service and which features to build. We are building a team where diversity of thought and background is valued as strongly as technical skills, and where everyone is encouraged to produce innovative ideas.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
