The Windows & Devices Strategy and Business Planning team is seeking a strategic and analytical leader to drive growth and portfolio strategy for Windows commercial and consumer businesses.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years product management, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in data mining and analytics (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Python/predictive modeling/econometrics).
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data mining and analytics (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Python/predictive modeling/econometrics).
- MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., data science, economics, engineering).
- Experience in a role that requires you to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
- Experience in translating complex data into strategic frameworks and synthesizing insights from internal and external data sources.
- Build and maintain a network across the organization to amplify insights and scale learnings.
- Scale conjoint and other research methodologies across markets to support tactical and strategic planning.
Business Planning IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities
Lead the development of Windows ecosystem strategy for 3rd party hardware, grounded in data-driven insights and market intelligence. Drive strategic initiatives and influence senior leadership through rigorous analysis and compelling storytelling. Conduct portfolio management using advanced analytics, customer research, and competitive benchmarking. Develop and apply business and portfolio principles to optimize the Windows device lineup—minimizing SKU complexity, pricing gaps, and product overlaps. Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, planning, program management, sales, and finance to align strategy with execution. Build plans to enhance Windows user loyalty, retention, and upgrade cycles.
