Overview

Xbox is seeking a Sr. Brand Manager to help shape and evolve the Xbox brand on a global scale.

Are you a creative and dynamic thinker with deep experience managing a consumer brand? Do you know what it takes to create clarity for product teams and customers alike, including the development of verbal and visual systems, strategic frameworks, and executional guidelines? Are you insights-driven and detail-oriented? If so, then this role might be for you.

As Sr. Brand Manager- Xbox, you’ll work at the intersection of strategy and execution, partnering with devices marketing, digital, engineering, legal, and sales teams to help deliver a clear and consistent brand identity for Xbox. You’re comfortable with the ambiguity of foundational brand work. You know how to build consensus across partner teams and present your work persuasively to senior leadership. You’ll champion best practices and help grow brand stewardship across the business.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • 6+ years work experience at a branding agency or with product marketing, brand building, and/or strategy development OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a consumer brand

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years creative strategy experience, which could include brief writing and/or managing strategy on the corporate or agency side.
  • 6+ years experience managing projects (e.g., internal stakeholder management, timelines, prioritization, road mapping).
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully build brand systems that meet business goals while also propelling the brand forward
  • Ability to lead a team through complex challenges. Proven ability to problem solve and unify team in environment with multiple priorities
  • Experienced presenter able to create strategic and compelling material to influence a variety of audiences, including leadership teams
  • Highly organized with outstanding business communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familarity with Gaming industry.

Brand IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute on brand strategy that aligns with Xbox’s long-term vision and business goals
  • Manage Xbox verbal and visual identity for product launches and updates
  • Partner with marketing, design, and product teams to deliver cohesive brand experiences across channels
  • Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to ensure brand consistency and excellence
  • Use consumer insights, competitive analysis, and performance data to inform brand decisions.
  • Serve as a brand advocate across the organization
