Overview

The Microsoft 365 Copilot team is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Product Marketing Manager - Agents to lead our marketing strategy and planning for Microsoft 365 (M365) agents—driving Copilot growth and redefining productivity and collaboration with AI and agents. This role will lead end-to-end product marketing for M365 agents—defining the strategy, shaping the agent portfolio, and influencing product development by identifying cross-product opportunities and connected experiences. This role involves driving both inbound efforts (influencing product development with market/competitive insights and cross-product integration opportunities) and outbound efforts (positioning, go-to-market, and adoption programs) for all M365 agents. This role offers a unique, highly visibility opportunity to drive storytelling, thought leadership, product launches, customer advocacy, and key business outcomes that accelerate our AI momentum and drive market differentiation.

As the lead for this space, you will craft the overarching story for how these agents empower users and organizations in this new era of human and agent teams, align them under a consistent strategy, and differentiate Microsoft’s offerings in a fast-evolving market. This is a highly collaborative role that partners across a diverse set of stakeholders—including senior leadership, product and engineering, design/UX, business planning and finance, sales and field marketing, Public Relations (PR)/communications, and analyst relations—to ensure we successfully bring our agents vision to market.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in product marketing OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in product marketing OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in product marketing in the technology industry
  • Experience creating and executing successful inbound and outbound marketing strategies and plans for complex and innovative products
  • Experience in the AI space either directly or indirectly.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in product marketing OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in product marketing OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in product marketing in the cloud services industry
  • Experience working with generative-AI products and specifically in the agentic space
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft 365 applications

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the overall marketing strategy for the portfolio of M365 agents, ensuring each agent (and the portfolio as a whole) aligns with our broader Microsoft 365 Copilot strategy and business goals
  • Create compelling narratives, value propositions, and messaging that position our agent capabilities in a differentiated way and resonate with target audiences
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plans that drive awareness, adoption, and advocacy for M365 agents
  • Partner with engineering/product teams to influence product experiences and direction based on market insights, customer needs, and cross-product considerations
  • Develop and deliver sales readiness content and enablement assets that communicate business value and competitive differentiation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, engineering, business planning, finance, sales, and customer support teams to successfully launch M365 agents
  • Act as a thought leader for agents, representing the products at first-party and third-party events, customer meetings, analyst engagements, press interviews, and more
