As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will shape portfolio strategy by combining market insights surfacing needs, assessing emerging trends, and evaluating the competitive landscape to craft forward looking recommendations that influence portfolio roadmaps and go-to-market priorities, especially as AI reshapes mission readiness, cybersecurity, and decision-making across the industry. You will leverage your business, technical, and marketing experience to drive alignment around shared outcomes and ensure alignment of the product mix to support the prioritized use cases as well as portfolio changes and product lifecycle transitions.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in product marketing, product management, go-to-market strategy and/or program management OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in product marketing, product management, go-to-market strategy and/or program management OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience working successfully cross functionally in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience working closely with engineering on go to market initiatives.

  • This position requires verification of citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate’s citizenship will be verified with a valid passport.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in product marketing, product management, go-to-market strategy and/or program management OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in product marketing, product management, go-to-market strategy and/or program management OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in strategy or management consulting, with specific experience in go-to market strategies for Government, Defense and Intelligence industry technology solutions.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver strategic recommendations for the portfolio of products, including market opportunities, competitive analysis, and portfolio overview tailored to the needs of the Government, Defense, and Intelligence sectors globally.
  • Building upon the knowledge of others (engineering, marketing, business planning, finance, legal and sales) and driving cross-group alignment, with clear definition of success.
  • Provide audience-specific insights, including industry-aligned use cases, alternatives, and address pain points.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives by driving go-to-market strategies, identifying impacts across functions, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure coordinated execution.
  • Consolidate portfolio delivery timelines, incorporating dependencies from both upstream engineering and downstream marketing activities.
  • Regularly communicate status, risks, and issues with extended stakeholder groups.
  • Regularly scans the environment to help anticipate changes that could affect key projects. Applies systems thinking.
  • Effectively changes plans, goals, actions or priorities to respond to changing situations.
  • Removes barriers by working with others around a shared need or benefit.
  • Able to maintain a broader perspective and identifies and evaluates opportunities to enhance the business through cross-group collaboration.
  • Incorporates diverse perspectives to thoroughly address complex business issues.
  • Translates the product strategy into operational plans, and drives those plans through to completion.
  • Ensures stakeholder buy-in and cross-team participation to meet required timelines.
  • Anticipates issues or implications that his or her ideas would have on others and pursues mutually beneficial strategies.
  • Leads groups in scoping problems by identifying key issues, inputs, stakeholders, and outcomes.
  • Applies a broad business and functional knowledge base to develop insightful solutions to complex problems.
