Overview
AI Transformation (AIT) organization within Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) focuses on our own AI and Copilot adoption by identifying our most pervasive pain points that can be solved with AI design wins; codifying our learnings and best practices; and working directly with customer and partner executives to help them accelerate their own AI Transformation with credibility and trust built from our experience as customer zero. This will come through using our own products and services, and our innovation will yield business benefits for Microsoft which we will then share with our customers.
We’re seeking a visionary narrative leader to serve as the Principal Narrative Architect, AI Strategy & Transformation, a foundational role in a new organization focused on amplifying the impact of AI transformation across MCAPS. This role will shape how we identify, elevate, and scale the most compelling internal and customer-facing stories—turning success into repeatable, trusted systems and insights into influence.
You will partner directly with the CVP of AI Strategy & Transformation to build a persistent storytelling engine that captures the best of Customer Zero narratives, supports MCAPS leadership with high-impact assets, and inspires transformation across global teams. This is a unique opportunity to architect a narrative strategy that connects innovation to business value and drives cultural change.
The AI Strategy & Transformation mission goes beyond tooling and process—it’s about reshaping how people work, think, and innovate. The right candidate for this role should be positioned not just as a masterful communicator, but someone who influences transformation through insight-driven narratives that inspire action and align stakeholders around a shared vision.
Why join us?
This is more than a storytelling role—it’s a strategic opportunity to shape how Microsoft leads by example in the AI era. You’ll help define how we talk about transformation, how we scale what works, and how we inspire others to follow.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
