As an AI Apps Solution Engineer, you’ll help customers adopt these innovations to boost productivity, drive innovation, and become AI-native.

As an AI Applications Solution Engineer (SE), you will play a pivotal role in helping enterprise AI developers unlock the full potential of Microsoft’s AI-powered stack across every stage of the development lifecycle. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering leaders and platform teams to accelerate AI Foundry, Azure AI, and Responsible AI, through hands-on engagements like Proof of Concepts, hackathons, and architecture workshops. You’ll guide customers through secure, scalable solution design, influence technical decisions, and accelerate AI applications development into their deployment workflows. Required Qualifications

• Foundational technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  OR equivalent experience.
• Experience engaging with enterprise development teams, including developers and technical decision makers.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Java) and familiarity with frameworks such as .NET, Node.js, or React.
• Exposure to developer tools such as GitHub, Visual Studio Code, and basic understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, or platform engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and frameworks (e.g., basic understanding of AI Foundry, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Responsible AI principles).
• Ability to participate in technical engagements (e.g., demos, hackathons, code-with sessions) under guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) or hybrid/on-premises infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development concepts (APIs, containers, microservices, event-driven architectures).
• Exposure to AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot), low-code/pro-code platforms, or Azure AI.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and grow technical skills through hands-on engagements and community participation.

• Support technical sales activities by assisting with demos, proof-of-concepts, and solution design under supervision.
• Participate in hands-on engagements (hackathons, code-with sessions, workshops) to accelerate adoption of Microsoft AI developer tools and cloud platforms.
• Build relationships with developers and platform leads, contributing to secure and scalable solution design.
• Help resolve technical blockers by collaborating with engineering teams and sharing insights.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of AI Foundry, AI/ML frameworks, cloud-native development, and developer tools.
• Represent Microsoft in developer communities and forums, sharing learnings and best practices.
