Qualifications
Minimum Experience
- Proven experience in a senior customer-facing technology role (e.g., Solutions Architect, Account Technologist, Technology Strategist) within enterprise or financial services.
- Strong ability to translate complex business needs into technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Experience leading cross-functional and/or global teams to deliver customer outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining executive-level relationships.
Preferred Experience
- Understanding of the Australian and New Zealand financial services industry, including key market trends, challenges, and regulatory considerations.
- Experience acting as a trusted technology advisor for enterprise accounts.
- Track record of leading digital transformation initiatives that align with strategic business objectives.
- Skilled in opportunity identification, demand generation, and influencing customer technology adoption.
- Experience orchestrating partner and internal resources to deliver innovative, competitive solutions.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks and best practices for enterprise account planning and enablement.
Responsibilities
- Synthesize business insights and orchestrate global, cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, applying deep expertise and recognized thought leadership.
- Serve as a virtual CTO, providing account-level thought leadership, leveraging deep knowledge of Microsoft solutions, industry trends, and customer needs, and acting as the voice of the customer, industry, and internal teams.
- Shape and execute technology strategy by aligning customer needs with Microsoft solutions, driving digital transformation, building mid-to-long-term technical roadmaps, and translating business objectives into actionable technology plans.
- Identify, develop, and drive opportunities, present value propositions to customers, and create demand; coach peers on opportunity initiation, mapping Microsoft priorities to business needs.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives, partnering with senior business leaders to articulate the advantages of Microsoft technology over competitor solutions, and enabling customer technical specialists to effectively sell Microsoft offerings.
- Map customer technical requirements and business scenarios to Microsoft technology platforms; orchestrate teams and partners to generate demand, embed best practices in account planning, and deliver regular industry/technology briefings to senior decision-makers and technical stakeholders.
- Build customer capability by leveraging readiness resources, creating enablement plans, and demonstrating deep expertise to accelerate adoption and success.
