We are looking for a passionate Customer Experience Product Manager -Security Community, who will improve our team, bring new solutions to our challenges, and lead programs that enhance the customer experience and product quality.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of outstanding product management or program management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience. problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic skills, with curiosity and bias for action. Growth mindset and customer-development experience. Excellent communication and empathy skills with customers, partners, field, and engineering.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • Experience with Microsoft Security products.
  • Experience working with or in Microsoft Engineering
  • Experience leveraging customer communities to drive feedback and influence product design and development.
  • Self-starter, who can handle ambiguity and provide innovative solutions.


Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the Security Community.
• Expand and engage our customer community across diverse domains and regions for quality co-development with engineering.
• Work with feature PMs to shape customer engagements across the product lifecycle.
• Develop and improve infrastructure, collateral, and instructional design for optimal outcomes.
• Inform and empower the Security Community within and beyond the engineering team.

  • Regularly collaborate and work across virtual teams within engineering to prioritize and execute key initiatives.
