The Security PM Team within Microsoft Security drives new experiences and horizontal security initiatives to ensure proactively mitigate threats and improve security posture across Microsoft’s ecosystem of products used to protect the planet's largest, most influential organizations from cyberattacks.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, information security, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification, Security+ Certification, or relevant certification.
- 3+ years of experience at a cloud hyperscaler working on security products or services or equivalent experience working at a leading security vendor
- Written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to executives and collaborating across engineering, security stakeholders, and legal teams
Technical Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.

Responsibilities
Identifies crucial and strategic opportunities and gaps in the implementation of multiple feature areas. Demonstrates and builds experiences across multiple groups or divisions by influencing and building alignment among cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority. Acts as a subject matter expert when defining the program(s) goals and prioritization for the multiple feature areas they own across divisional boundaries. Creates relationships to drive orchestration and integration efforts for the development and implementation process of multiple feature areas. Leads the tracking, coordination, and communication of end-to-end project schedules. Uses analytical skills and experience using data to drive product decisions and measure success outcomes. Oversees the development of the staging and implementation plan for piloting/release in alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for multiple feature areas. Oversees governance programs and processes to ensure that specific performance requirements and standards are met throughout the development lifecycle. Validates use-case and scenario outcomes, and security targets that are being achieved. Serves as an expert to partner with others to collect security metrics. Oversees the customer supportability experience and provides documentation. Acts as a technical leader to educate and evangelize the feature areas.
