Overview

Microsoft’s Manufacturing and Mobility Specialized Unit Team is looking for a seasoned B2B Applications Sales Manager - selling ERP, Supply Chain, CCaaS, CRM and other complex sales environments required. The Specialist Manager is a proven sales leader, purposeful planner, people leader, sales challenger, market maker and a social seller. This is a senior role that is operating at a strategic level with Microsoft’s Prioritized customers, with deep engagement and understanding of the industry business issues and strategic challenges.

Leveraging your large, multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft product portfolio, engage at the most senior levels of your customer and deliver industry-relevant solutions to help the customer adopt and embrace business transformation.

With a proven history of driving growth in market share, achieving sales targets, customer obsession, forecasting accuracy, and partner collaboration, this role will leverage your extensive customer network and sales experience to execute against an account plan.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in ERP, supply chain, and CRM sales environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, Information Security, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 12+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.
    6+ years solution or services sales experience.
    3+ years people management experience.

Solution Area Specialists M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.

Responsibilities

  • You also lead your team to plan and execute strategies for leading / driving and closing opportunities, and to identify new partners and evaluate partner capabilities and forecast accuracy. You coach your team to learn about and apply the orchestration model, and support them in participating in Microsoft events. Additionally, you act as the spokesman for Microsoft at external events and coach your team about Microsoft technology differentiators/competitive advantage.
  • You lead your team to optimize the portfolio and facilitate customer innovation, and guide them on ensuring customer/partner satisfaction. Moreover, you drive and oversee integrated strategic planning and guide your team in whitespace analysis and support them to identify potential new business in their assigned territories. Finally, you oversee the end-to-end business and complete required training and obtain relevant product and role certifications.
  • Microsoft skills, sales leadership experience and successes across team sizes of 6-12 Sellers. This role is for a seasoned leader who can demonstrate all of the above.
  • You also lead your team to plan and execute strategies through hiring A-Players who understand complex sales cycles (multiple departments, business executives, ROI and building value propositions) for leading, driving and closing opportunities. and winning. Also, have experience building partner relationships, evaluating their capabilities and ensuring they have the Customer and Microsoft's interest in mind. Additionally, you act as the spokesman for Microsoft at external events and coach your team about Microsoft technology differentiators/competitive advantage.
  • You lead your team to meet the business owners, ask thought provoking questions and look for challenges that can be measured and solved across the portfolio. Moreover, you drive and oversee integrated strategic planning and guide your team in whitespace analysis and support them to identify potential new business in their assigned territories. Finally, you oversee the end-to-end business and complete required training and obtain relevant product and role certifications.
