Overview

At Microsoft, we believe that strategic partnerships are the cornerstone of transformative innovation. This role sits within our high-impact Strategic Partnerships and Enterprise Sales organization, where we collaborate with industry-leading customers to reimagine their business through SAP, Cloud, and AI technologies. If you're passionate about driving meaningful change at scale and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment, this is your opportunity to shape the future of enterprise transformation.

As a Senior Director - Strategic SAP & Cloud Transformation, you will be in a senior, customer-facing role pivotal in driving transformative SAP, Cloud, and AI engagements across strategic enterprise accounts in the Americas. As a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, you’ll orchestrate cross-functional teams and partner ecosystems to deliver meaningful business outcomes aligned with each customer’s unique digital transformation journey.

This opportunity is ideal for a strategic thinker and enterprise seller who thrives at the intersection of business value creation, technology innovation, and long-term partnership development. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who bring an executive presence, deep SAP domain expertise, and a track record of originating and progressing complex, multi-year opportunities. You’ll lead with a value-first, solution-selling mindset—crafting compelling opportunities that connect Microsoft’s SAP, AI, and Cloud capabilities to the customer’s strategic priorities and bottom line.

Success in this role requires a balance of strategic vision, customer excellence, and disciplined sales and pipeline management. You’ll align cross-functional teams—including field, partner, and engineering stakeholders—around a unified transformation agenda. Your ability to translate executive-level thought leadership into actionable SAP modernization strategies will drive measurable value across finance, supply chain, and procurement domains. You’ll also contribute to the broader ecosystem by developing repeatable solution plays, scalable reference architectures, and frameworks that foster consistent customer success across industries.

This is not a transactional sales role—it’s a strategic growth opportunity that calls for creativity, resilience, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. You’ll be accountable for building long-term customer trust, identifying new SAP and adjacent Cloud and AI opportunities, and securing strategic wins that elevate Microsoft’s brand and deepen our enterprise footprint.

We foster a high-impact, collaborative environment where everyone’s voice matters. The Account Director will operate with agility and integrity across Microsoft’s three circles—customer, partner, and internal teams—while embodying our cultural values of growth mindset, customer obsession, and inclusive behavior. Success will be measured not only by the outcomes delivered, but by how those outcomes are achieved—through teamwork, transparency, and a shared commitment to excellence.
