Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in psychology, research, marketing or business-related roles
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Sciences, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in data science, research, marketing or business-related roles.
  • Experience with consumer Generative AI tools and the ability to represent their interests and developments to internal stakeholder.
  • Experience providing marketing leadership on the consumer AI category, including emerging trends, competitive insights, and identifying new opportunities to shape strategic decisions.

Additional or preferred qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in psychology, research, marketing or business-related roles
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Sciences, Statistics, or related field AND 4+ years experience in data science, research, marketing or business-related roles
    • OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Sciences, Statistics, or related field AND 3+ years experience in data science, research, marketing or business-related roles.
  • 2+ years experience working with decision makers to define needs and scope research to answer questions.
  • 2+ years creating content that conveys a simple, clear message.

Market Research IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.

  • Proficiency in Consumer AI: Demonstrated knowledge of, or passion for, the consumer GenAI market—including key players, emerging trends, and future opportunities.
  • Research and Data Integration Skills: Ability to synthesize consumer and commercial research, integrating large volumes of quantitative and qualitative data to develop strategic insights.
  • Communication and Influence: Confident and creative communicator, storyteller, and influencer—able to translate complex insights into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Innovation and Adaptability: Comfortable with “blank sheet of paper” situations—excited to create and build new solutions, while leveraging existing resources and envisioning what’s possible.
