As a Software Engineer in the Microsoft Specialized Cloud team, you will lead development for a variety of Edge Computing products and platforms. You will be responsible for bringing in the latest Azure offering in Customer's Edge locations. You will get the opportunity to define the limits of Cloud Computing and work with customers to solve real-world problems. This will be a place where you will innovate to overcome current technology, bring in solutions that solve resiliency, scale, security at a completely different level. Qualifications
Required Qualification:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development
- Bachelor’s/master's degree or equivalent in Computer science or related field required
- 2+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring cloud services/RESTful service/Distributed system
- A strong Computer Science background with solid C#, Java, C/C++ programming, debugging skills is highly desired
- Great design and problem-solving skills, with a strong bias for architecting for performance, scalability, security, and reliability
- Deep understanding of efficient data structures and algorithms
Preferred Qualification:
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and related technologies is strongly preferred
- Experience with AI/ML and LLMs is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms is preferred
Responsibilities
• Developing Cloud Services or Restful services, or Distributed systems
• Able to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies
• Collaborate across Azure to develop platforms that help simplify the management and monitoring of Edge devices at scale
• Write exemplary code working with large scale distributed systems with quality, simplicity, and maintainability as core tenets
• Drive for quality across the team, mentor and guide others for keeping the bar high.
