Overview
We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our team!
This team is responsible for building a platform of intelligent agents for Power Platform customers that surface strategic insights, actionable guides, and agent assistance to automate routine tasks. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience for familiarity with building and maintaining cloud distributed microservices and web APIs OR front-end responsive, performant, and accessible web applications.
Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Experience with LLM based coding and automation tools.
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.

Responsibilities
- Lead by example within the team by producing extensible and maintainable web applications and services. Optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI). Apply metrics to drive the quality and stability of code, as well as appropriate coding patterns and best practices.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on call to monitor web applications and services for degradation, downtime, or interruptions. Work with customers to resolve escalations.
- Engage in design discussions to advocate for and drive general improvements across our technology stack and product group.
- Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
