The Senior Finance Manager – Environmental Social and Governance Controllership will work closley with our Sustainability, Legal, and other teams to ensure the integrity, validity and comparability of the ESG data that we disclose under emerging regulations.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager – Environmental Social and Governance Controllership with expertise to support our mission to strengthen and scale our ESG Reporting processes. This role provides a great opportunity to partner closely with a various set of stakeholders (Finance, Legal, and Sustainability).

The Senior Finance Manager – Environmental Social and Governance Controllershipwill be a highly motivated individual who has the ability to work through ambiguity, proactively solve problems, and build partnerships.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 3+ years accounting or finance experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 4+ years accounting or finance experience OR equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a matrix-based organization

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance or related field AND 8+ years of accounting or finance experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance or related field AND 6+ years of accounting or finance experience
  • Professional accounting certification such as CPA or equivalent

Accounting IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for compiling consistent, comparable, and reliable Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) disclosures required by governing bodies
  • Serve as a liaison between Controllership, Sustainability, Legal, Investor Relations and various other business functions to provide leadership and guidance to advance the Company’s ESG strategy while delivering timely and accurate reporting
  • Maintain broad understanding of ESG reporting landscape, working with Legal, including various reporting frameworks and standards and disclosure legislation
  • Support ESG materiality assessment and scoping
  • Establish standardized policies and procedures, developing a top-down approach, for ESG reporting to ensure consistency of information across various jurisdictions, such as at the subsidiary reporting level
