As a Product Manager II – Azure Core Storage, you will join the Azure Block Storage team, which is responsible for delivering block storage solutions for Virtual Machines (VMs), containers, and a variety of customer workloads. You can be part of a strategic team with Microsoft-wide and industry-wide impact.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with engineering, finance, and business stakeholders to shape product roadmaps, determine investment priorities, and ensure our solutions make a measurable impact for both our customers and Microsoft. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
OR equivalent experience.
+1 year of experience in data-driven decision-making.
- +1 year of experience with communication and collaboration skills.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development .
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
- 3+ years in technical product management, technical program management, or related technical roles.
- 2+ year experience with hyperscale cloud storage technologies, distributed systems, or enterprise customer needs

Responsibilities
- Research customer and partner scenarios, gather insights into industry trends, listen and understand customer requirements, and translate them into viable product roadmaps, strategies, and motions.
- Drive end to end product development including new ideas, user experience, go to market plan, and growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams – including engineering, operations, business, marketing, and support – to deliver high-impact features on time and within budget.
- Partner with stakeholders to define, collect, analyze, and interpret metrics to validate product hypotheses, measure success, and iterate quickly.
- Ensure all solutions meet Microsoft’s security, privacy, and accessibility standards.
