Overview

The Account Technology Strategist (ATS) serves as a trusted advisor to European Union institutions, driving digital transformation and aligning technology strategies with organizational priorities. This role combines deep technical expertise with business acumen to deliver innovative solutions that enable EU institutions to achieve their mission effectively and securely. Provide a 360 degrees perspective on the Microsoft offering and helps the Institutions understand how to align it with their business objectives.

Through strategic technology guidance, the ATS ensures that EU institutions can strengthen digital capabilities and sovereignty, enhance citizen trust, and accelerate innovation.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Proven experience in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, or account management within public sector or large organizations.
  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, data & AI, cybersecurity, and compliance standards.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage complex, multi-country engagements.
  • Languages: English required; French highly desirable; other EU languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Engagement:

    • Build and maintain executive-level relationships within EU institutions.
    • Translate EU policy priorities—such as sustainability, cybersecurity, and interoperability—into actionable technology strategies.
  • Technology Leadership:

    • Lead discussions on cloud adoption, cybersecurity, data governance, and AI-driven innovation.
    • Ensure solutions comply with EU regulatory frameworks while delivering tangible value to citizens and institutions.
  • Collaboration & Influence:

    • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver integrated, future-ready solutions.
    • Act as a liaison between technical and business decision-makers, fostering trust and alignment.
  • Thought Leadership:

    • Represent the company in EU-focused forums and events, sharing insights on emerging technologies.
    • Advocate for innovation that supports the EU’s strategic objectives and societal impact.
