CXE collaborates with customers, partners, and internal scale engines to accelerate product adoption and incubate new feature development Microsoft Security is looking for a Senior Product Manager focused on partner engagement and adoption enablement to accelerate security product usage and deliver actionable insights to engineering.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience supporting large installations of Security Products, preferably in multitenant environments, including Purview, Sentinel or similar.
- 4+ years of experience evaluating and translating customer needs, requirements, and difficulties, and communicating solutions (positioning, technology, value, priority) and improvements to technical and non-technical stakeholders and translating customer feedback into product features.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Prefered Qualifications:
- Ability to forge trusted relationships with customers communicating on behalf of Microsoft Security engineering, facilitating understanding of the value proposition of Microsoft product portfolio.
- Experience engaging with customers and partners and managing expectations in customer-facing roles.
- Highly adaptable to change and comfortable pivoting in response to changing circumstances and ambiguous situations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and understand fact-based communications / presentations both verbal and written and adapting style and level of information based on audience (C-Level, business, architect, analysts, admins, developers).
- Experience in program or product management driving adoption strategies, resolving blockers, and influencing engineering priorities through actionable insights.
- 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., healthy disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
- 4+ years experience improving product metrics (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Technology Acumen and Expertise: Serve as a trusted advisor and specialist on Security products and capabilities.
- Product Management and Strategic Investment: Lead product management efforts by collaborating across organizations to evaluate trade-offs, prioritize investments, and align with company objectives. Drive roadmap decisions to meet success criteria and OKRs. Execute campaigns that support feature incubation, usage, and adoption. Lead Top-tier and Strategic partner engagements, unblock adoption obstacles, and maintain prioritized feedback lists to inform engineering and roadmap decisions.
- Customer-Centric Insights: Anticipate customer needs and market opportunities through data-driven analysis. Identify patterns across feature areas, assess impact, and prioritize barriers. Deliver actionable insights from partner engagements to influence engineering investments and accelerate adoption of security capabilities
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including Engineering, Product Marketing, Business Planning, and executive leadership, to shape product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Define release criteria, customer acquisition strategies, and lead creation of deployment tools, collateral, and processes.
- Effective Communication: Articulate product strategy to diverse audiences through webinars, documentation, and partner engagements. Build consensus and alignment around deployment goals.
- Thought Leadership: Foster a shared vision and address hurdles within the team. Influence and align stakeholders, including group managers and leaders, around a unified product direction.
- Customer Adoption Enablement: Accelerate customer success through targeted enablement, training, and support initiatives. ·
