Overview

Azure Solutions and Ecosystems is at the forefront of delivering innovative cloud solutions. We work closely with industry leaders like Oracle, VMware, SAP, and others to ensure Microsoft Azure is the best cloud platform for our customers’ growth and innovation. In partnership with Oracle, we have built a first-of-its-kind multi-cloud solution – Oracle Database@Azure – which brings Oracle’s flagship database services into Azure datacenters. This service enables customers to run their Oracle databases on Azure with high performance, security, and reliability, while seamlessly integrating with native Azure services.

Are you passionate about the potential of AI to transform cloud database operations? Do you want to redefine how enterprises deploy and manage mission-critical databases in the cloud? The Oracle Database@Azure team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the AI evolution of Day 1 and Day 2 operations for Oracle databases on Azure. In this role, you will own the product roadmap and feature set that bring intelligent, AI-powered experiences to the full lifecycle of Oracle Database workloads on Azure – from initial provisioning and migration (Day 1) to ongoing monitoring, optimization, automation, and maintenance (Day 2).

As the product owner for AI-driven database operations, you will envision and deliver end-to-end user experiences that incorporate Azure’s cutting-edge AI capabilities to enhance database provisioning and administration. You will work at the intersection of cloud databases and artificial intelligence, crafting copilot-style assistance, intelligent monitoring dashboards, anomaly detection alerts, and automated tuning workflows that make managing Oracle workloads on Azure simpler and more efficient. This is a hands-on, highly visible role where you will collaborate with engineering, UX design, and Azure AI platform teams to build innovative solutions on top of Oracle Exadata infrastructure in Azure. If you have a strong technical background in database management and a knack for building user-friendly enterprise tools, this is an opportunity to shape the future of cloud database operations with AI.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
