Overview

On the Microsoft Communications team, you’ll join a group of professionals focused on telling the stories that help people fall in love with Microsoft, the things we make and the impact we have in the world.

As part of Microsoft’s Consumer Communications team, the Microsoft AI (MAI) Communications team is looking for a Senior Communications Manager to join our scrappy group at the center of Microsoft’s consumer AI transformation. This person will sit at the intersection of product communications and momentum storytelling across a mix of audiences. This person will be equally comfortable leading product communications for Microsoft’s AdTech business in Microsoft Advertising while driving broader momentum storytelling including how AI will influence the web economy. This role will also work alongside the Communications and Marketing teams that reach consumers to create and execute campaigns which capture the attention of emerging influencers and their audiences. This candidate will be proactive and adept at identifying the highest impact storytelling opportunities to help move our consumer AI ambitions forward. Core to this role is an understanding of the transition the communications landscape is going through and the dramatic fragmentation, decentralization and democratization of media and influence. They’ll also be comfortable with experimentation and navigating a large, global organization often facing competing priorities to create the win-win for Microsoft.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.
