Industry Solution finance team is part of Microsoft Commercial and Partner Solutions finance team. This team operates as a trusted partner to the Industry Solution leadership team. Industry Solution P&L directly impacts the Microsoft External financial reporting segment, your work as a finance leader will help the company decide how we optimize resource allocation and maximize Return on Investment of the company's strategic asset. In this role you'll act as the de facto CFO that manages the Americas region of ISD business, work side by side with the Americas ISD Corporate Vice President and their team to deliver the full scope of financial outcome of the business.

Qualifications

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience partnering with business/functional leaders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 12+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years work experience in the technology or software industry.
  • 3+ years work experience in matrix-based organization.
  • 3+ years experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
  • Professional Services and Consulting business experience is a strong plus.

Financial Analysis IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver the P&L targets across top line and bottom line. Utilize finance process for outlook, forecast and budget to guide business directions, highlight risks and opportunities and enforce business accountabilities toward financial outcome.

2. Provide insight, advisory and decision support to Americas ISD CVP, help business leaders navigate day to day commercial and finance issues.

3. Act as steward for MSFT shareholder value, constantly seek optimization of financial investment of ISD for greater ROIs.

4. Strategically collaborate with wide range of business and finance stakeholders to drive syergy and efficiency in business and finance process.
