We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Applied Scientist / Research Software Engineer to join our innovative team in Beijing. Our mission is to benefit Office users with rich content support to raise productivity, and we are building the AI and engineering system to make it happen.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to design and develop highly complex and comprehensive systems combining engineering, AI and human participation. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and users to turn ideas and AI into reality and make a great impact to all global Office users.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related areas. Master and Ph.D. are preferred.
Familiar with popular models and algorithms on computer vision and multimodal LLMs.
Proficient in Python/Java/C#, skilled in using a deep learning framework such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
3+ years of industrial experience in model training and application development. Successful experience in solving practical problems.
Experience on office product and technical stack about Office/OpenXML/VSTO is a plus.

Works closely with your peers in rationalizing technology choices, design and implementations on our AIGC and related systems.
Responsible for the research and application of deep learning algorithms, including model training and optimization, engineering applications. The areas include image generation, image analysis, image processing, Office (PowerPoint/Word/Excel) design generation, palette extraction, content layout generation, etc.
Keeps up with the latest industry technologies and integrates them into products to drive innovation.
Guarantees of the generated contents are compliant with our global standardization.
