Overview
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDE) who is eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to the development of scalable data solutions. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who want to work with modern data technologies and gain experience in building systems that support strategic insights across Microsoft 365.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Internship or academic project experience in software development or data engineering.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and big data technologies.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement data pipelines and services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in languages such as C#, Java, or C++.
- Use scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate data processing and operational tasks.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team planning activities.
- Learn and apply best practices in software development and data engineering.
