Overview

In Azure Storage we provide the critical backbone supporting Azure as the world's computer and AI leader. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager (Partner Engagement) - Azure Storage with business and technical expertise to help us grow our robust partner ecosystem with emerging AI partners. This role will be a key part of a partner and customer team focused on delivering the best Azure experience through strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience working with software ISVs (independent software vendors) in a joint development effort.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience working for or with AI model, training, or data pipeline for AI providers.
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of Market Signals, Industry Analyst Reports, Internal research, and industry publications to identify focus partners.
  • Authoring strategic partnership agreements with business development.
  • Build customer and workload specific Go To Market with alliances and marketing including materials and public presentations.
  • Program management and solution design of partner deployments on Azure in conjunction with Azure and Partner subject matter experts (SMEs) and engineers.
  • Continuous cross team collaboration with Business Development, Marketing, Product teams, Partner Alliances, and Sales.
  • Regular Product and Service Performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Capture partner needs and escalate issues as needed to act as their advocate, improve their experience, and shape Azure roadmap.
