The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.

Microsoft’s partner ecosystem plays a critical role in unlocking scale and acceleration for the Security CSU, and the Senior Manager, Partner Strategy will play a pivotal role in designing and executing strategic initiatives that deliver partner-led customer success. This individual will help shape how Microsoft collaborates with its ecosystem of security partners to generate measurable outcomes across Microsoft’s portfolio of security solutions. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments, understands the dynamics of partner ecosystems, and is passionate about driving business impact through strategic collaboration.

Responsibilities
Partner Strategy & Go-to-Market Execution
- Collaborate with partners to design and launch targeted usage and consumption campaigns that accelerate customer value realization across Microsoft’s portfolio of security solutions.
- Support the launch and scale of partner-led initiatives across global geographies, ensuring consistency and impact.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with field teams, corporate stakeholders, and partners to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
Data & Reporting Infrastructure
- Develop and operationalize data, reporting, and tooling infrastructure to continuously monitor and assess strategy and execution efficacy.
- Drive improvements in tooling and reporting systems to better quantify partner-influenced metrics such as Monthly Active Usage (MAU) and opportunity attach.
Governance & Process Management
- Establish governance processes to oversee partner-led strategic initiatives and ensure repeatable and scalable workflows across the partner go-to-market lifecycle.
- Own the rhythm of business for partner strategy, including pipeline tracking, milestone reporting, and offer catalog management.
Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment
- Partner with internal stakeholders across Microsoft (e.g., Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions, Engineering, FastTrack, Business Groups) to align strategy and execution with business and company-wide priorities.
Enablement & Readiness
- Deliver enablement programs that equip Microsoft field teams with the tools and insights needed to activate partner-led usage motions.
- Support partner onboarding and readiness, ensuring alignment with Microsoft’s security priorities and investment programs.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 3+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, and/or Finance.
- 1+ years of experience in partner strategy, business development, or program management in technology or professional services.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with senior executive-level stakeholders at external partner organizations, including managed service providers, global systems integrators, and boutique consultancies.
- Strong understanding of cloud security solutions and enterprise software, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives and driving measurable outcomes through partner ecosystems.
- Prior experience in top-tier management consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or investment banking, with a focus on strategy, operations, or technology.
- Familiarity with Microsoft’s post-sales ecosystem and partner incentive programs.
- Experience with data-driven program design and performance measurement.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Business Strategy IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
