We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Community Events to join to our team. This role for Microsoft Security Community Events is a member of the CxE Customer Communities and Partner (CC&P) team. The team’s goal is to bring end-users and engineers together to build products that drive customer and partner success, accelerate usage, and unlock the full potential of our solutions. This role demands a passion for enhancing the customer experience, fostering a consistent and efficient collaboration between engineers and customers at in-person events and enabling a customer-centric development culture.Our fast-paced environment motivates team members to innovate and be at the forefront of product development, with a customer-first mindset. Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the Security Customer Connection Program Events
- Expand and engage our customer community through events across diverse product domains and regions for quality research & cop-design with engineering.
- Work with product teams and researchers to shape community events across the product lifecycle.
- Drive a wholistic community events program from private to public with peers and community partners.
- Develop and improve infrastructure, collateral, and instructional design for optimal outcomes.
- Inform and empower Community members to engage between each other and beyond the engineering team at our events.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience planning and coordinating corporate events, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion. Demonstrated expertise in event coordination of logistics, including venue selection and booking, to speaker management.
- 5+ years of experience with leading internal virtual team meetings with stakeholders to clearly communicate event objectives, deliverables, and deadlines. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across diverse functions, including engineering, marketing, and executive leadership to achieve shared business objectives.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
