Are you ready to join our Data & AI team and help customers maximise the value of their data?

As a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) for Data & Analytics, you’ll work closely with clients to deliver practical, scalable solutions that drive business transformation through modern data platforms, advanced analytics, and cloud-native architectures. In this role, you will serve as a Trusted Advisor to customers, building strong relationships and establishing credibility by providing expert guidance at every stage of their data journey.

You will focus on Understanding Customer/Partner Technical Environment by collaborating with IT executives, business leaders, and technical teams to gain a deep knowledge of their existing systems, goals, and challenges. This insight enables you to tailor solutions that address their unique needs and accelerate their digital transformation.

As a CSA for Data & Analytics, you will guide customers from initial concept to production-scale solutions on Azure, with a focus on data platforms, analytics, and data engineering workloads. You’ll lead Architecture Design and Deployment engagements, facilitating technical design sessions and overseeing the implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient data solutions using Microsoft’s best practices. Your expertise will ensure successful adoption of Azure Data services—including Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and more.

You will act as the accountable technical leader for key data scenarios, delivering excellence by deploying secure, scalable, and cost-optimised solutions built on repeatable IP and best practices. Through close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders, you’ll define target outcomes, architect robust solutions, and guide them through every stage to realisation in production.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50 % remotely.

Responsibilities
  • Build trusted relationships with IT executives and business leaders to shape their Data and Analytics strategy, acting as a technical advisor and champion for their success.
  • Lead architectural design sessions and guide the implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient data solutions using Microsoft’s best practices (e.g., Cloud Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework).
  • Drive technical excellence across Azure Data workloads, ensuring mission-critical solutions are optimised for performance, security, and operational readiness.
  • Accelerate customer outcomes by delivering repeatable IP, resolving technical blockers, and providing delivery oversight for key engagements.
  • Inspire customer innovation by helping them adopt modern analytics and data engineering at scale, guiding them through their transformation journey.
  • Actively contribute to Microsoft’s technical communities by mentoring peers, sharing insights, and serving as a spokesperson in internal and external forums.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset by continuously developing your skills, aligning with business priorities, and contributing to a culture of learning and excellence.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)

  • Extensive hands-on experience architecting, building, and delivering cloud-native data platform and analytics solutions at production scale, leveraging Azure Data services (including Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, etc.)
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end delivery of data solutions to production, driving adoption through repeatable IP and alignment to defined business outcomes.
  • Strong expertise in secure, resilient, and optimised architecture practices for data workloads, applying Microsoft Well-Architected Framework, data landing zones, and best practices for mission-critical solutions.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to influence technical and business leaders, facilitate architectural design sessions, and drive consensus across diverse teams.
  • Able to fluently communicate (written and verbal) in both Finnish and English.

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and event-driven/data streaming architectures for scalable and resilient distributed systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with secure DevOps practices for data workloads, including GitHub, CI/CD, and data governance.
  • Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT, and modern data engineering (e.g., pipelines, orchestration, automation).
  • Active contributions to technical communities, development of reusable IP, and experience mentoring or enabling peers in data and analytics domains.
  • Proven experience coordinating partner ecosystems or programme delivery across multiple customer engagements, driving high-impact business outcomes and technical success at scale
