• Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions
• Apply strong knowledge of how products and services are built, deployed, and evolved in a DevOps-managed production environment
• Lead and execute rapid technology “spikes” or proofs of concept to validate new features and services
• Work in an agile, highly collaborative environment and partner with commerce and cross-functional teams to build cross-service integrations
• Communicate clearly and effectively, whether writing code, documentation, emails, or explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Continuously seek improvements in engineering practices, developer productivity, testing strategies, and deployment velocity
• Demonstrate a reliable and accountable work ethic, taking ownership of initiatives and fostering strong performance across the team
• Analyze, monitor, and improve service efficiency, scalability, and reliability

Required Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, .NET, or Python, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience as a software engineer building commercial software, with a proven track record of shipping successful products and services
• Experience designing end-user applications using modern, web-based technologies with a strong focus on user experience
• 8+ years of experience driving and managing technical and architectural dependencies, with proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, or equivalent languages or frameworks

Preferred Qualification

• Hands-on application development experience using ASP.NET and Azure PaaS services, including Web Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Hub, REST APIs, SQL, and NoSQL
• Experience with software development tools such as source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, software validation systems, project tracking, and lifecycle management tools
• Development experience on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, with expertise in React and Node.js
