• Lead Microsoft’s custom silicon sourcing and supply chain team, overseeing all related programs.
• Build and scale a silicon manufacturing center of excellence adaptable to diverse requirements.
• Drive sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and negotiations to support custom silicon initiatives.
• Ensure supply chain efficiency, continuity of supply, and optimal inventory management.
• Establish multi-year supply chain strategies based on market intelligence and supplier relationships.
• Proactively identify risks, facilitate executive decisions, and communicate across disciplines.
• Switch seamlessly between strategic planning and hands-on execution in a dynamic environment.
• Achieve targets for cost, quality, compliance, and on-time delivery through operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 8+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 10+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles
  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
    

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 10+ years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, or operations related roles
  • OR Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 8+ years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, or operations related roles
  • OR equivalent experience.

Sourcing Engineering M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.
