Specialist Sales Manager (Cloud & AI Platforms)

Responsibilities
- Lead a high performing specialist team to drive Azure adoption and Cloud transformation in Public Sector, with a focus on all Azure Cloud aspects such as infrastructure modernization, AI readiness, data platform modernization, and application innovation.
- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to Public Sector procurement, regulatory requirements, data residency, compliance frameworks, and security needs.
- Engage directly with CxO and senior public leaders, supporting your team in opportunity discovery, alignment to agency missions, and accelerating large, multi year cloud programs.
- Drive pipeline discipline and forecasting excellence, using Microsoft sales processes, tools, and required program utilization standards.
- Strengthen partner engagement, co selling with key cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and industry solution partners to expand reach and impact.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and long term consumption growth across all Azure workloads (Infra, Data, AI, App Innovation, SAP, Security).
- Create a culture of continuous learning, ensuring your team stays current on cloud innovation, AI advancements, industry trends, and Public Sector regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Proven technology related sales or account management experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science or related field AND years of technology related sales or account management experience.
- Proven people management or leadership experience
- Executive presence and ability to engage public sector leadership and decision makers.
- Deep experience selling to Public Sector (government, education, healthcare, public safety) including understanding of procurement cycles, tender processes, compliance frameworks, and data sovereignty requirements.
- Senior technical sales leadership experience in cloud services growth and consumption.
- Strong Azure, AI, infrastructure, data, and cloud modernization expertise; ability to lead technical and business conversations.
- Experience negotiating multimillion dollar cloud or digital transformation deals.
- Understanding of partner ecosystems and ability to leverage partners in complex transformation programs.
