Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Delivery
· Lead execution of daily operational processes using structured methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
· Monitor KPIs, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
· Build consistent reporting mechanisms and operational dashboards to communicate performance and risks.
Vendor Management ·
Serve as the primary operational liaison to the 3rd-party vendor delivering global compliance and payments operations.
· Ensure the vendor meets SLA and KPI expectations; re-align priorities and coach vendor teams as needed.
· Anticipate bottlenecks and proactively escalate or resolve blockers.
Cross-Functional Stakeholder Engagement
· Partner closely with Legal (CELA), Compliance, Ops, Engineering, Product, Finance, and regional teams to drive cohesive execution.
· Provide clear, concise communication to stakeholders on operational health, risks, and required actions.
· Establish trusting, collaborative relationships to accelerate decision-making.
Regulatory Compliance Governance
· Support the execution of global regulatory and payment compliance processes.
· Maintain audit-ready workflows, ensuring tasks are completed reliably, accurately, and within regulatory timelines.
· Identify emerging compliance risks and drive operational readiness.
Continuous Improvement
· Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose process optimizations and AI/automation opportunities.
· Maintain and refine process documentation, SOPs, and control mechanisms.
· Champion a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational rigor.

- Predictable look-ahead calendar and cadence of future deliverables and payments, to prevent surprises.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business, legal/regulatory, compliance, audit/consulting firm
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Operations, Program/Project Management, Business Operations, or similar.
- Proven experience managing vendors or third-party service providers.
- Exceptional multitasking skills and ability to prioritize based on urgency and business impact.
- Compelling communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, take initiative, and manage sensitive, high-risk workflows.
- Solid professional judgment, particularly in dealing with sensitive compliance data and written communications with government and regulatory agencies.
- Great attention to detail, with the ability to also step back and communicate the bigger picture to management to support effective decision making on risks.
- Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.
- Familiarity with Microsoft’s internal compliance and sustainability tools and processes.
- Knowledge of AI-driven compliance solutions and digital risk management platforms.
- Experience in the consumer electronics or hardware technology industry.
- Familiarity with global regulatory waste compliance and payments operations.
- Understanding of AI-based process-improvement methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and drive structure where needed

Compliance IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
