We are seeking a Business Program Manager, Lease Sustainability, who will be instrumental in developing and optimizing the processes, systems and tools for the Lease Sustainability program within the Leased Data Center portfolio of Microsoft CO+I. In this role, the Business Program Manager, Lease Sustainability, will engage internal teams throughout the Microsoft CO+I organization, focusing on controls and compliance related to business processes, program design and execution. The ideal candidate should be adept at navigating ambiguity, possess strong cross-group collaboration skills, utilize a data-driven approach to assessing and articulating risk, and have a continuous desire to learn and grow. Responsibilities

- Develop, drive and optimize global processes, systems and tools leveraged by the Lease Sustainability team.
- Evolve governance and methodology to facilitate increased program integration and process maturity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Lead the implementation of advanced data collection and validation strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage and high data integrity.
- Drive innovation in sustainability data management, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance and streamline data accuracy and reliability.
- Orchestrate the rhythm of business with a focus on strategic alignment and execution excellence, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
- Spearhead the execution of comprehensive telemetry implementation plans, driving the adoption of smart technologies for enhanced sustainability monitoring.
- Evaluate and iterate on telemetry strategies to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the leased data center portfolio and sustainability objectives.
- Champion data transparency and collaboration, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and mutual benefit in sustainability efforts.
- Implement robust systems for identifying and addressing non-conformance, ensuring swift resolution and adherence to sustainability standards.
- Engage cross-functional teams in the development of corrective action plans, leveraging diverse expertise to achieve sustainability targets.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years’ experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years’ experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years’ experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
- OR equivalent experience.
Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Real Estate Portfolio Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
