As a Manager of Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs) in Microsoft’s Customer Success organization, you will lead a team of senior technical experts who help enterprise customers strategize, design, deliver and optimize secure and scalable AI solutions across data, application innovation, and infrastructure workloads on Azure. You will guide your team in driving customer success through realizing business value and innovation, accelerating adoption of Azure services across the Cloud & AI Platform. In this role, you will foster a culture of learning, inclusion, and consumption business excellence. You will further develop partnering across engineering, sales, and support teams to remove blockers, scale impact, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The role values customer focus and in-person engagement for customer success.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of senior Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs) focused on Data, AI, App Innovation, and Infrastructure, fostering a culture of inclusion, growth mindset, and technical excellence.
  • Coach your team to deliver strategies for secure, scalable, and AI-ready solutions that drive measurable business value across customer engagements, and contribute to account planning process.
  • Align team efforts with Microsoft’s Cloud and AI strategy by tracking performance metrics, accelerating growth and ensuring customer success plans are clearly defined.
  • Guide your team’s development and foster the culture of shared learning, creation of repeatable intellectual property (IP) to accelerate solution deployment and scale impact across engagements.
  • Champion customer success by building trusted relationships, representing the voice of the customer, and influencing product improvements through strategic feedback to engineering and corporate functions.
  • Promote your personal growth and team’s continuous learning and technical depth through certifications, skilling plans, and active participation in technical communities.
  • Drive innovation and operational excellence by enabling next best actions, generating incremental pipeline, and aligning with Customer Success priorities.
  • Foster close alignment with account teams ensuring full engagement with different roles to ensure they are positioned for success in delivering on customer commitments.
  • Act upon agreed business priorities of wider organization, hold accountability for shared success.
  • Manage proactively the account coverage of the team, reflecting on the most strategic initiatives for Microsoft customers, and managing responsibly, transparently and compliantly their engagements.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND extensive experience in cloud technologies, information technology (IT), consulting/support, security, software development, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Solid people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND extensive experience in cloud technologies, information technology (IT), consulting/support, security, software development, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • Extensive experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external)
  • Extensive experience leading technical projects, teams, or functions
    • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, Security certifications)
  • French or German language
