The Strategic Engagement Lead is a cross-functional leader within the Business organization, responsible for shaping initiatives that drive player engagement, franchise growth, through an omni channel approach. This role owns a multi-year strategy roadmap for features and content that blends the game engineering capability and execution plan with player expectations for consistent engagement. You’ll work with the game engineering team, partnerships & licensing, community, and live ops teams to create an aligned long-term plan maximizing the game potential. They will bring a data‑informed perspective to drive stronger player relationships both in and out of the game, with a focus on scalable engagement models and clear measures of success.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans that connect best‑in‑class engagement practices, community growth, and franchise‑wide business objectives.
  • Build business cases for new content formats, engagement programs, and community‑driven initiatives grounded in player insights and market analysis.
  • Partner closely with community, partnerships, and game engineering to create unified long‑term engagement strategies.
  • Support omni‑channel growth initiatives—including community, social, sales‑related programs, and ecosystem touchpoints—to deepen player connections and expand reach.
  • Translate player behavior data, community feedback, and market signals into actionable strategies that reinforce sustainable franchise growth.
  • Lead cross‑functional planning for major releases and live‑service moments, ensuring alignment, clarity of goals, and strong post‑mortem processes.
  • Drive frameworks and processes for measuring engagement success across channels, ensuring programs deliver meaningful results for players and the business.
  • Ensure any competitive‑related engagement strategies are grounded in franchise needs and aligned with broader publishing and business development priorities.



Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications:

Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 3+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications:
Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 8+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 12+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR equivalent experience.
4+ years experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, and/or Finance.


Business Strategy IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
