Our Generalized Agents team is responsible for building advanced AI innovation for the security business. This role is very crucial to ensure success of AI innovation we are building and entails end to end envisioning of how AI can help threat hunting and security research broadly and build AI agents to help the personas. • E2E development of AI products for Microsoft Security customers including design, conceptualizing, shipping and maintaining
• Engineering excellence including robust secure code practices, incident management, robust scaleable development
• Mentor team of junior engineers in the team to deliver
• Adapt AI first engineering for agility and velocity
• Partner with product stakeholder and research crews to deliver world class AI products
• Lead and manage execution plan per the aligned roadmap

• 10+ years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems, with applied knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices.
• 6+ years of experience designing and building scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure using orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent, with an emphasis on data quality, automation, pipeline reliability, and framework development.
• Should have xperience working with distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Databricks, or similar technologies to transform and manage large-scale datasets.
• 6+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or comparable environments, including building and operating scalable, highly available services and systems.
• Experience programming in Python, Scala, or similar languages for data engineering tasks, including performance tuning, observability, and working with query languages such as KQL.
