Senior Product Manager

Responsibilities
- Define and execute on the Product-led Growth strategy for growing M365 Copilot adoption across Windows, Office, Edge, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
- Articulate a phased product roadmap that aligns with Microsoft’s business objectives, synthesizing customer data with market, competitive, and technology trends to inform product direction.
- Partner closely with design and engineering teams to deliver and optimize investments that improve the M365 Copilot experience across Microsoft and across platforms.
- Participate and drive cross-company forums and strategic partnerships, including with Windows, Office, Edge, and other major business units.
- Continually invest in PLG best practices for measurement, experimentation, and operational rigor in how we work; working closely with data teams and also partnering with business teams on targets and ongoing performance.
- Engage with customers and customer listening signals to ensure we have a solid qualitative understanding of product quality and performance.
- Lead partnerships and cross-company initiatives that ensure the best customer experience and effectively leverage deep technical investments to support teams across Microsoft.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product/program management within large-scale technology firms.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional and cross-team initiatives that modernize operational processes and reduce overhead.
- Solid product management experience in growth, engagement, or ROB automation, ideally within large-scale ecosystems.
- Customer-driven focus; observing subscribers/gathering feedback, and working with Product, Design and Research teams.
- Experienced in data-driven decision-making: designing dashboards, funnel instrumentation, and experimentation frameworks.
- Skilled at partnering with engineering, data science, and product teams to deliver automated reporting and insights.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple product groups without direct authority.
- Experience applying quantitative and qualitative research to optimize acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention funnels.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and able to “cut through the noise” using data-driven decisions.
- Growth mindset – a desire to learn, improve, and show persistence in the face of setbacks.
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
