Sr. Finance Manager, MCAPS Core Finance

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to support Unified business growth, focusing on analytics, modeling, planning, performance storytelling, and forecasting opportunities to expand the Unified footprint across Microsoft Commercial Customers.
This highly visible role involves partnering with key stakeholders, including senior business leaders in the Services CE&S organization, MCAPS, and Security product finance.
The position reports to the Unified Finance Director and is a key member of the team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall revenue performance to support informed decision-making and drive business impact.
- Support strategic transformation initiatives.
- Partner with STU Sales, Offerings, GTM, and MCAPS Finance on topics related to sales.
- Partner with MCAPS Finance across solution areas to understand business direction and summarize key themes for leadership.
- Build financial models and decision-support frameworks at worldwide and area levels.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
- 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
- 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.
- MBA preferred
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI
- Advanced experience managing complex and dynamic financial models with multiple tiers of inputs and outputs; experience working with large data sets is preferred
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
