Overview

The Digital Account Executive builds and maintains strong customer relationships across Medium Enterprise accounts, guiding customers through digital transformation and maximizing value from Microsoft’s cloud and AI solutions. This role drives revenue by engaging decision makers, identifying new opportunities, managing renewals, and orchestrating internal teams and partners. Leveraging digital tools and industry insights, the DAE ensures customer satisfaction, accelerates cloud adoption, and executes strategic account plans within a fast‑paced, AI-powered SME&C sales environment.



Responsibilities
  • Build and deepen customer relationships, engaging C‑suite, ITDMs, and BDMs while serving as the customer’s primary point of contact and internal advocate.
  • Drive new pipeline creation, qualify opportunities, and advance them through the full sales lifecycle, including cross-sell, upsell, and cloud adoption motions.
  • Strategically manage territory and account plans, aligning resources, partners, and sales plays to meet revenue, consumption, and renewal goals.
  • Lead and coordinate renewals and anniversaries (EA/CSP), aligning licensing options to customer business outcomes and future strategy.
  • Monitor and act on customer satisfaction insights, proactively preventing and resolving issues while elevating customer experience.
  • Maintain strong product, solution, and industry expertise; leverage digital research tools to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Orchestrate internal teams and partner ecosystems to deliver cohesive, value-based solutions and accelerate customer digital transformation.


Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing (or equivalent) or related field AND 3+ years sales and negotiation experience or related work experience OR 5+ years sales and negotiation experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish (required).

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing (or equivalent) or related field AND 8+ years sales and negotiation experience or related work experience OR 10+ years technology sales and negotiation experience OR equivalent experience.
