The Managed Security & Governance (MS&G) team builds the platform capabilities that allow enterprise customers to adopt Power Platform with confidence, providing visibility, policy controls, enforcement, and intelligent admin experiences that balance speed with safety.
We own and evolve the Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC) and its supporting services, bringing together inventory, policy, security posture, and agent governance into a unified, enterprisegrade admin platform. Our work spans platform foundations, customer zero (MSIT), global enterprise customers, and deep partnerships across Power Platform, Microsoft Security, M365, Azure, and compliance teams.
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead foundational governance and security investments that directly shape how enterprise customers scale Power Platform safely and efficiently.
This is a senior, highly visible role where you will operate as a product leader across multiple teams and organizations, owning longterm strategy while driving execution on complex, crosscutting initiatives. You will be expected to define vision, align stakeholders, and deliver customercentric solutions that operate at Microsoftscale.
This role sits at the center of enterprise trust, platform scale, and AIdriven innovation. The decisions you make will directly impact how some of the world’s largest organizations adopt Power Platform, shaping not just individual features, but the longterm trajectory of adminled growth and secure lowcode development at Microsoft.

Responsibilities
- Define and own multiyear product strategy for core governance and security scenarios, aligning investments to AdminLed Growth, enterprise readiness, and platform trust
- Lead crossfunctional execution across engineering, design, security, compliance, and partner teams to deliver cohesive, endtoend platform experiences
- Drive platformlevel thinking, designing solutions that scale across tenants, environments, and millions of assets while minimizing customer friction
- Partner deeply with enterprise customers, including customer zero (MSIT), to translate realworld governance and security challenges into durable product capabilities
- Influence without authority, aligning senior stakeholders across Power Platform, M365, Azure, and Microsoft Security around shared goals and tradeoffs
- Use data and customer insights to define success metrics, measure outcomes, and continuously refine product direction
- Raise the quality bar for product thinking, execution, and storytelling within the team through mentorship and thought leadership
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.6+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).8+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).8+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
- Experience building or scaling enterprise governance, security, admin, or compliance platforms.
- Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels, balancing longterm vision with nearterm delivery.
- Solid customer empathy, with experience working directly with large enterprise or regulated customers.
- Exceptional communication skills, including experience influencing senior leadership and presenting complex topics clearly.
- Passion for empowering customers through simple, intuitive experiences built on robust platform foundations.
Product Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.
