The Senior Analyst Relations Manager – Microsoft AI Business Solutions is responsible for developing and executing Microsoft’s analyst relations strategy and plan specific to the Microsoft Business Applications and Agents with a focus on Dynamics 365 portfolio. This individual will engage directly with a targeted community of analysts, manage key relationships with Microsoft executives and business leads, and drive awareness of Microsoft’s vision, strategy, products, and services for agentic business solutions. The role requires an analyst relations resource who is familiar with enterprise application trends, understands analyst influence on customer buying decisions and product roadmaps, and thrives in a very fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Design, implement, and drive a comprehensive analyst relations program to support Microsoft Business Applications business goals and product portfolio.
- Relationship Management: Build, strengthen, and sustain influential relationships with key analysts and research firms covering enterprise applications and adjacent markets.
- Shaping and Scaling Messaging and Positioning: Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and communications teams to bring analyst insights and feedback that help shape and differentiate product strategy and messaging.
- Market Intelligence: Gather, synthesize, and communicate analyst insights, competitive intelligence, and industry trends to internal stakeholders for strategic planning and product development.
- Analyst Engagements: Coordinate and execute analyst briefings, inquiries, and strategic advisory sessions for internal stakeholders, ensuring that the goals are clear, Microsoft executives are prepared, and messaging is consistent.
- Influence Research Categories & Drive Evaluative Reports: Proactively engage with analysts to influence their category definitions and evolutions, shape analyst research agendas, influence report criteria and weightings, and maximize Microsoft’s presence in key evaluative research (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrants, Forrester Waves, International Data Corporation (IDC) MarketScapes).
- Sales Enablement: Translate analyst insights and positioning within research into actionable sales tools and narratives that accelerate deal cycles and improve win rates.
- Leading Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with communication, marketing, product, engineering, and executive teams to align analyst relations strategy and activities with broader go-to-market initiatives.
- Executive Support: Provide counsel and prep to senior leaders in advance of analyst engagements.
- Event Management: Support and execute analyst events, roundtables, and summits to showcase Microsoft leadership and innovation.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field AND 3+ years experience in analyst relations
- OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in analyst relations
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience managing relationships with top-tier Gartner, Forrester and IDC analysts and confidence navigating challenging analyst questions and critical feedback.
- Experience influencing analyst research and driving positive placement in key reports.
- Experience advising executives and senior product leaders on analyst feedback, perception gaps, and competitive positioning.
- Project Management experience
- Experience providing feedback, coaching, and guidance to team members.
- Experience leading analyst relations for enterprise software (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Human Capital Management (HCM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Finance, Industry Clouds, or Low Code).
- Experience with AI-infused business applications and emerging enterprise tech trends.
- Experience translating product strategy and roadmaps into clear, differentiated analyst messaging.
- Experience connecting product features to business outcomes, industry priorities, and customer value.
- Experience measuring Analyst Relations (AR) impact, using qualitative and quantitative indicators to demonstrate business value.

Analyst Relations IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
