Responsibilities'- Own and deliver components end‑to‑end, including design, implementation, testing, quality, and readiness for release.
- Drive engineering quality by owning bugs, automation coverage, and contributing to reliability, fundamentals, and telemetry work.
- Assists and learns about breaking down work items into tasks and provides estimation.
- Execute with speed and independence, making sound technical decisions and articulating trade‑offs for where problems are best solved.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering partners, providing technical insights, surfacing risks early, and contributing to design and code reviews.
- Contribute actively to Livesite, engineering investments, and team culture, helping the broader team stay informed and aligned across geographies.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience with strong programming skills in C++, C#, C, Java, Python, Rust.
- Understanding of distributed systems and cloud architecture fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in production environments.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Object-Oriented design with one of these languages - C#, C++ or Java.
- Passion for building highly available distributed systems at scale.
- Experience working across disciplines, groups, and teams.
- Experience writing applications using C/C++, C#, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Experience in Machine Learning and AI.
