Responsibilities
Project Manager (CPM) enables both Microsoft and Customer outcomes through orchestration of delivery teams. They govern either a single engagement or a portfolio of projects and are a key driver of the delivery lifecycle, using their executive expertise to remove barriers and deliver successful outcomes. The Consulting Project Manager is a key role in managing a successful engagement, maintaining portfolio health and leading a team of delivery professionals.
Our team of Consulting Project Managers comprise an unusual mix of project/program management and consulting skills, along with a passion for technology. We are responsible for keeping the project team working on the highest priority tasks, removing risks and impediments, maintaining on track financials and leading communications with stakeholders and the end Customer. As a trusted advisor to our Customers, you will be responsible for the successful execution of one or more projects at a time, providing guidance, coaching, and project leadership. By mentoring and influencing, you will drive the highest quality and the strongest sense of Customer focus on each project, while helping to achieve both Customer satisfaction and Microsoft targets. We also play a key role in ensuring our business is empowered to make decisions and assess portfolio health, through accurate forecasting and project health status submissions.

Core Project & Consulting Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex technology projects or programs, including delivery across scope, cost, schedule, and quality
- Strong background in project/program management and consulting engagements. Proven ability to orchestrate multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage executive stakeholders, cross‑functional delivery teams, and partners
- Experience in financial governance, forecasting, and commercial management
- Expertise in risk, issue, and change management, including leading scope and budget impact assessments. Proven abilities to manage risks related to Data readiness and quality, Model governance and ethical AI considerations
- Ability to translate requirements along with AI capabilities into business outcomes, aligning use cases to Customer strategy and value realization
- Hands‑on experience delivering AI‑enabled, data‑driven, or advanced analytics programs, including cloud‑based AI solutions
- Strong understanding of AI concepts, such as Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, Data platforms, analytics pipelines, and model lifecycle considerations
- Expertise in managing AI solution delivery on cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft technologies such as: Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Fabric, or Power Platform (AI Builder / Copilot)
- Experience supporting or leading AI‑related pre‑sales activities, including Use‑case definition, Estimation and capacity planning, Change Requests and solution evolution

- Commitment to continuous learning in AI, data, and emerging technologies
- Actively maintains relevant certifications and training across project management, cloud, and AI domains
- Demonstrates a strong consulting mindset, customer empathy, and outcome‑focused delivery leadership

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate with 12+ years of experience with at least 4+ years of Project Management experience.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Demonstrated management of medium to large complexity projects involving employees, customers, and partners. Ability to work with different Microsoft internal stakeholders
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. AI 900 or any other equivalent certification.
- Domain expertise - FSI, Manfacture, AutoMobile, Healthcare, CloudNative
- 4+ years financial management experience.
- Agile certification, Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Professional Scrum Master One (PSM1) certification.
